Fenland White

By AlexandraSD
Took this image a few days ago, didnt really notice it until now, how did i miss this one?

Last night i downloaded elements 10 to a new machine, never used elements 10 before, certainly never edited images on a netbook, but this one was, so if its a bit of a disaster processing wise, i apologise, looks ok on this monitor though, but some adjustment may be needed.

Looks fine here too. Only thing detrimental is the left side as you look at the image isn't sharp but the right side is. Nice scene and would think it also works in mono. Composition's nice too.

When editing it last night, the right side appeared to have translucent branches, on closer inspection those branches were not translucent, just in shadow, i almost didnt upload it for that reason, but the sharpness, hmmm, i gave it a fix of Auto Sharpen in elements10, i am careful now not to overdo it, a few images recently, like the winter log/light one, way too sharp, its tricky finding the middle ground isn't it lol i usually sharpen using the High Pass filter, setting the layer to either soft ot vivid light, depending n the image, but i always go OTT Grin will have to find that sweet spot me thinks!

Looks fine to me and very nicely composed. I don't think the left side needs sharpening, it's just not in focus like the rest of the image. Perhaps those branches were nearer than those on the right.
I've never used a laptop for editing but I imagine it'd be quite tricky.

Its horrible, im using a touchpad thingy to edit, and im not keen on those, but elements10 aint too bad so its ok for editing on the fly if ever i need to, i just wont do anything fancy with it!
