Fern

By helenlinda
I have this fern in my porch. It grows one particularly long stem that winds around the corner of the room. I cut it off every now and then, but today I decided to take some photos of it before it gets shortened again.
I've no idea what anyone will make of this for an image, so I wait with bated breath BlushBlushBlushBlush
Many thanks to everyone who left Clicks and comments yesterday , and especially to Joline for giving it her User Award SmileSmileSmileSmile
Thanks for looking
Helen

Brilliant! And I'm so pleased that this is as found rather than as constructed... It's what makes photography exciting for me, the sheer surrealism of the real world. Dali could have dreamed this up.
Very nice processing for clean contrast. Just the essential lines, the things that matter. The bracket on the right is important, rather appropriately it holds everything in place.
I've given my UA today, otherwise this would get it.

Brilliant, Helen! I love it. As Moira says it is these found moments that are so good.

Thanks for sharing.

From the thumbnail this looked like a needle and thread.
Very original and just the sort of image which could win in Contemporary Art competitions.

Very interesting, it looks as if it is knocking on a door, at least that's what I see Wink
I like all that empty white space.

Very unusual! I thought on looking at the thumbnail you'd scrawled across it with a pencil!! Grin A great capture and presentation, Helen Smile

Actually, I love it. The interesting doodle work done by your fern, and the fact that you saw it as a photo...very well done.
