FernGully (II)

By WhiteRose1
I worked on several different crops for FernGully (I) but was so pre-occupied with getting the light against the dark I missed these glorious shadows and shapes on the ground. This should have been uploaded as a 'version' on my previous image so my apologies for that, and my thanks for your VCs on that one.

Hope your weekend goes well, wherever you are and whatever you're doing.

I have never tried to take photos of them, even I have a lot in the garden...I just presume that it must be difficult, they grow well in dark places, there isn't much chance you can play light, I hardly see them under good light... I like the light and shadows..the shape is beautiful...I'll wait for your tomorrow's one...Smile

YES!!! Now THIS is the kind of photograph I love. Stark shadows, especially from plants. In fact, I took one last week and wasn't gonna upload it 'cos the plant itself wasn't in sharp focus, only the shadow. If I can find it I'll upload it. Thanks for the inspiration Smile

Very well spotted chance opportunity for a shot here: the way the sunlight dapples down through the canopy to the forest floor creating highlights and shadows like this is endless, A few minutes later it would be gone.

I love woodland shots and this is no exception. Like the shadows on the leaf in the centre. Paul
