Ferrybridge C power station

By xwang
The photo was taken from Pontefract castle, if you want to know more about Ferrybridge C power station, please click the link . I haven't been there only amazed by the "Power..". Sometimes I see the power stations from a distance, I'm always fascinated by the steam coming out of the chimney , it forms all sorts of clouds.. interesting and beautiful, it becomes part of England's landscape... Thanks for looking.

Nice composition - I love the contrast of the modern world of the power station and the older ruins. Well done.

Dramatic capture and great juxtaposition between two very different and contrasting elements.

The white smoke looks good against the grey sky, Jasmine, and there's a strong contrast between the natural and man made with the trees and cooling station, and a further contrast between the old castle and new power station. A well worked point of view.
