I managed to get a selfish three days to myself with the camera in Snowdonia recently. Weather was a bit of a mixed bag but as it didn't rain would be considered superb by the locals... On an overcast afternoon I headed to this wonderful gorge near Betws-Y-Coed hoping to capture the autumnal hues and improve on my previous attempts. The ubiquitous wellies came in handy as I wedged myself between some rocks and, faced with the apparent absence of folk from the world of faerie, I took this instead.
