Filament of flames

By EddieAC
A photo I did for the macro challenge group. This was created by turning on my desklamp after breaking the glass on the light bulb. Once switched on the filament immediately burns out and gives off smoke.

This was captured with the camera set to continuous exposure mode and this was frame 5 of 9. I liked this frame as the filament is still glowing. I was also impressed that my speedlight kept up with the camera and didn't drop a frame due to running out of power.
