Finally... something not completely staged

By philhomer
.... although some would argue not 100% genuine wild either

Took a small group out to Gigrin on Saturday - crikey it's grown since i was there last. Anyone thinking of just nipping there, do call to book a hut - we called when half-way there and were lucky to get a space at all!

Have uploaded a few variants - you willl see that i 'banked' a few easy ones - ie open sky before going for the ones i was more interested in, ie more interesting backgrounds and head-on shots.

Initially i would have been using a relatively fast shutter to freeze the whiole subject but then moved to slower shutters in order to attempt to capture a little movement.

As this was not an 'official' workshop i got to keep my 300mm and as such made the most of the opportunity.

As always your opinions, questions etc are more welcome

Great set.
(I was last there with snow on the ground. That took care of underlighting. SmileSmileSmile)

Spectacular shots Phil! This is somewhere I mean to visit every time we go to parents' house which is only 10 miles away - never got there yet! The last time we were in Wales a Red Kite divebombed our car as we were driving along!!!
