Oh how I can relate to the sentiment in your title. Sad At least the snow makes the world white and soft, but rain rain rain just looks grey and dull and depressing. Sad

We too are just beginning to see evidence of spring.................... as for the snow forecast, I can empathise I really can. We now seem to be over the worst of our elongated winter, but it is still bitterly cold, although apparently it could be as high as 20C this weekend, I suspect that is only for down south [apparently the UK only has a down south it doesn't seem to acknowledge the down trodden up north].

Beautiful picture, one to warm the cockles of the heart, what a pity it doesn't extend to the toes and fingers, not to mention the red nose Grin

My goodness this seems late for crocus - is this later than usual for you?
Amazing to see them fight their way out into the light.

So glad you have your first crocus, Joline, I do hope that it doesn't get smothered with the white stuff this afternoon, though Sad Carol

What a beautiful shot Joline; that soft and delicate little flower struggling up through the undergrowth to display its superb colour and beauty. Stunning.

A lovely springtime image Joline.

It's a bit closer to the average temperature at the moment for this time of the year where I live.

Beautiful image, Joline, and a pleasure to see ... Tish has it all wrong - I live on the coast down south and I can say it has been wet, exceedingly windy and icily cold - even the spring flowers that normally appear in February have only just put their heads above the ground, and they look like they wished the hadn't, and it is still chucking it down - keep well and keep warm ... What a wonderful moment when the first one opens - I've got the first forget-me-nots opening this morning - soon the garden will be full of them as the birds transplant them everywhere WinkWinkWink
