Fire Beacon.

By mike9005
Thanks to Sue (Sue118) and Lilian (lil48), for your lovely awards. Thanks to everyone for your C&Vs yesterday.
A Fire Beacon has stood in Bexhill since the Napoleonic Wars and since it was casting a shadow when I took it I saved it for today. This one was taken in Hastings Country Park, though you will find them all along the coast, some sites dating back to the Roman times. Who knows, we may need them again one day.GrinGrin

The warning siren of its day! Handy for Guy Fawkes? Mono for me, Mike.
