Fire Canyon Arch

By mlseawell
The visual stimulation from the Valley of Fire seems to be almost limitless. Just driving through this state park provides jaw dropping beauty but to me it is when you actually do a little bit of hiking is when you find...treasures. We brought our friends to a place adjacent to the Rainbow Vista hike and pulled off on the side of the rode. There is no trail, no indicator just some very canyon walls to get by through some climbing, nothing too tricky. Around the corner and right smack to another of nature's wonders...the fire canyon arch in all its glory.

Like a elephants head on lions feet. Amazing what wind and nature can make.

Absolutely Daisy! And the Valley of Fire is one of the most unusual places I've ever visited, simply unbelievable and hard to describe...amazing.
Lovely detail

I agree with Sandy... an elephant, maybe crouching and drinking at a water hole...
