Fire escape

By saltireblue
Hello you lot. Hope you are all enjoying either watching or avoiding the oily-impics happening in London.
What a great fortnight for Bradders. First Le Tour, then OL Gold. Brilliant.

Perhaps not so brilliant, but just as pleasing to me is this outside fire escape I came across. Encased in glass so that you don't get wet when escaping from a fire when it is raining.Wink How thoughtful is that?
Any way, the glass gives a rather cool shadow girder effect. Well, I think it's cool, and as I am cool, then it is so. Cool?

Many thanks for the recent comments, I'll catch up as best I can shortly.
Never stop bothering.

Malc

I think it's great, Malc. I like all the shapes, the way you've filled the frame with the structure, and of course the interesting glass effect.

Some excellent geometry there, Malc, great shapes and lines, but maybe not to stand and admire whilst the building goes up in flames.

Definitely cool, Malc. Except in the event of fire, of course, when I imagine it would be a touch too warm within.
That's a cool angle you've used, too, even if I'd be likely to lose my way and end up going in the wrong direction.

Bradders for P.M., too. Much more realistic than Dave, Nick and Boris . . . Wink

These Olympics are no good for my health Malc.
I was pure exhausted watching that gymnastics this afternoon.
Dunno how I will keep up when the track athletics start on Friday !!
Good graphic shot.

Make an impressive abstract Malc.

I did wonder where the shadows were coming from. must be one of the only glass encased fire escapes? Surely the smoke and heat would be funnelled up the glass box.

If this has been processed in monochrome, I would have thought it was the work on the great 'Alexander Rodchenko', simply stunning from any angle, curve, or perspective.

I love all the shapes and that red brick (I think) column on the left - it all makes for a very interesting - and cool - image. Hurrah for Wiggo from me too! Smile

Could be dual purpose and serve as a BBQ grill.

Certainly a well seen and taken shot.

What's all this about cool - if you are escaping a fire I would expect it to be hot - and glass houses are particularly hot when the sun shines - gorgeous shapes mind you Smile
