Fire In The Hole

By cameracat
Hi Guys & Gals,

The last of a set of 3 images from my Cromer sunrise outing, Gotta say that despite being quite pleased with outcome, They do get a tad samey, So much so that you just have to know when, Enough is enough....LOL....Grin

In this shot you can see that the reds in the sky have almost vanished, The sun was just about to make its appearance, KathyW was rushing up the beach to yet another location, Just managed to catch her, Though she was slightly faster than my shutter speed....Smile

I was surprised to get Kathy in a shot, Because she was all over the place, Moving with great speed from one viewpoint to another like a blur, Surprising considering she was fully loaded with backpack, Tripod & camera, That's a true landscaper for you.....Wink

On a photographic point, On this particular day and time, The light from the sky and that reflected on the beach etc, Was very evenly balanced, Almost nothing between them, So for most of my shots I did not use any filters ( ie Grads etc ) There was really no need, Shot everything in RAW, Then slightly tweaked in post, Sometimes it just works out that way.....!!!

My final tip for the day, Always get to your chosen location earlier than you think, ie: If the scripts say sunrise is at 5am, Get there at 4.15am, 4.30am at the latest, Or you will miss the very best of the light, That " Might " be available.

Oh! And don't forget the coffee & blueberry muffins, They make all the difference.....Smile

Hope you all had a great weekend.
Regards
Vince
