Fire Training

By jevy47
I used to be on the Safety Team at a local coal-fired power station.

This shoot was taken at Newcastle Airport whilst on a Training day.

The members on the left were giving cover to the person on his knee whilst he shut off the fuel supply to the fire.

The two members on the right in the foreground were there for safety.

I was about 40 metres away from the action with my camera and tripod and managed to get this shot before backing off as It was getting too hot for my gear.

Having done the above myself I have the utmost respect for REAL firemen.

I am lucky enough to have not needed their services, but have much admiration for them all. Pam
