Firs in the Mist...

By Scottishlandscapes
...the real stars of the photographs that morning on the Brig O'turk road were the fir trees, the mist makes them stand out against the unusual white backdrop.

The instant I opened this image, both my eyebrows shot momentarily skyward ( well, ceilingward anyway)
...an event that signals an immediate award.
And so I return the favour!

Outstandingly beautiful.

Many Thanks Alan

Sometimes you'd don't see the trees for the mountain. Wink

Beautifully composed to pick out the ridge & trees against the mist, with a hint of mountain beyond.
Snow & mist helps hide the scars left by recent timber operations.

What I really like here Dougie are the ghostly shapes of the mountains appearing in the upper part of the frame.
