First Evening on Harris...

By Scottishlandscapes
...the calm before the stormy weather rolled in. "March comes in like a Lion and out like a Lamb."

Many Thanks to Bliba, Alan, Bill, Moira, Joline, John, Mike & Ron for their awards i'm delighted by the response.

NB::the time on my two cameras was wrong I didn't notice till I was home.

Explain:: "Veil of Hail" I simply walked 5 paces off the deck and closed the conservatory door. Wink

Lynne it's a place of subtlety and wold swings f mood, it's great fun to keep up with the changes and stay dry at the same time.

It's just waiting, working on a strategy. It means to have you.

There were times I could have believed that Alan, the wind moved around the cottage and at times it seems it rattled the foundations.
There were times when had I been on the mainland I might have driven home, and island out in the Atlantic takes control of you and keeps you there to confound the weather. I often wondered if that was why so many lightouse keepers died or vanished from their little perches surrounded by the sea and that wind.
