First Photoshoot 2 - HDR

By ambro
Continuing from my upload yesterday, this is another one of the shots from the photoshoot. I thought this would look really good in HDR, unfortunately I am not experienced enough in working with those and this is the best I could come up with!
I hope you like it. Please give me any constructive criticism, thanks. More to come soon.

Shot in aperture priority, F6.3, 1/60, ISO400, at 26mm.

Hi Victor,

This is a good effort, you have a great model to start with and that really helps. She looks relaxed and her pose is fine. The hands are quite important, most inexperienced models don't know what to do with them, Just a avoid the banana effect, where there fingers are bent and look unnattractive.

You've just cropped off the top of her hood, which is a little unfortunate.

The immediate background (the wall) is fine, but to the right is not good, once I look at the model, my eye looks stright towards the right at the art gallery. If your model is the main point of interest, then make sure your background is fairly plain, with no bright highlights or distractions.

FInally, eyes, it's usually what people look towards first in a photo, there is very little light in her eyes (due to the hood she is wearing), a little fill in flash (used subtley) would help here. The whites of the eyes should be white!

I hope this helps. A good effort but a coupleof point need to be addressed first.

Andrew.

i agree with Mr Hurley above, I'm distracted by the shop/gallery on the right hand side, i like the blue brickwork background, would like to see more around her
