A fleeting moment of sunshine yesterday tempted me out for just long enough to get a handful of rather pedestrian shots. I quite liked the background in this one, consisting of hornbeam hedge and conifers, with the light adding some reasonable colour. The Robin(Erithacus rubecula) is perching on a dead ice plant head (Sedum spectabile). I always leave the dead heads in the garden over the winter as the birds love to search for bugs sheltering in them.
Many thanks for your support of my last upload and a special THANK YOU to David(Johnjo58) for his User Award - very much appreciated and valued
