I think that it's a very unique view of Whitby ...I have seen chicken, cow, horse on the weather vane....but it's only in Whitby, it's a fish. Thanks for looking.

Lovely deep blue sky, Jasmine, setting off the town hall clock tower and weather vane beautifully.
I found this interesting article about the "fish restoration", titled "Something fishy about weather vane" from June of this year. It was put on the wrong way round, and they said, “We have either got to change the weather vane or move the town around”. GrinGrinGrin
