well captured i tried for the ospreys on saturday but to no avail got some grass snake shots tho so that made up for it.I go there most weeks so maybe next time lol

I tried at the weekend with a 400 lens to get some herons nesting but they were also too far off (annoying but thats life) you are doing really well, just keep at it but dont get better than me or there will be no peace!

I think this is a very good shot.. whenever I take close ups I always take a panned back enviroment shot as well .. sometimes they make more sence
