That's a corker, Eric. Lovely processing, excellent composition, great light. Lens flare handled pretty well too!
Love it, really attractive image.
And the runes....well.....hmmm....

Got to give you something to criticise Alan.

It took a bit of processing due to the into the sun angle but with film it has the dynamic Range to be processed.

Well you did a pretty impressive job. Was always a Fuji fan myself.

Runes.... I just don't see the point when people put script or watermarks on their epz uploads, which are lo-res anyway. For me it just spoils my enjoyment of the image because it gets in the way.

They were originally done for Facebook uploads and I left them. Normally I don't put anything on for EPZ and I did try and keep it out of your eyeline at the bottom.SmileSmile

Very well composed image, superb in mono and really good handling of very difficult light conditions, nice dynamic range from the film processing.

Good one
Striking composition. Excellent tones. Would prefer it without picnic benches but maybe you would not want do that sort of manipulation?
What do the runes mean? Eric the Viking?

Not quite Ian just plain Eric Rollo but I am from Viking heritage so it fits.

I agree the picnic benches would be better out of the shot but I liked the angle for the cottages so it was the compromise.

That's the beauty of film Nigel it has a wide dynamic range so into the sun shots can be processed using selection and levels
