This isnt Ian, but one of the guys who trains in his gym......
This is a 'fake' hdr look, thats far far easier to use i think. Lucis art. I had it a few days ago and loved what it did to flowers, so tried it on other images that need a bit of something.

Fake hdr or not this treatment really works here (so many hdr shots just don't).

It's all about how appropriate the treatment is to the subject and it doesn't matter one jot here that this doesn't look like a 'real' capture - you've 'added' to the perceptual truth.

Thank you everyone for your comments, i think photmatix gives you more control and its what my other half has just got and prefers for landscapes.....i only tried it once, so will have to have another go lol.....
