Flaky paint and rust

I was drawn to the colours and textures of these old doors and the aging paint that was begining to flake off.funny how old wood and brickwork always seems to have so much character.You always feel they have a story to tell if only they could speak!

And who wouldn't be tempted by this lovely subject - or combination of subjects - the plant (fig?) sets off the brighter, lighter green so well. I wish I'd taken this... Smile
