flame of forest

This is a flower found in the forest of Arravali hills in Rajasthan. During the month of March most of forest convert in dark brown and without leaves and this tree has only flower which looks like fire in forest.

Well exposed but there are just too many blooms creating a bit of a jumble. Frankly not a lot to be done - a good record of the plant, no doubt, but fails to have impact.

Pointing your camera towards the sky will often cause your subject to be underexposed, and this is quite underexposed.

Ive loaded a mod for comparison. if taking a similar shot again, use the exposure compensation setting, and set it to + 2/3 and try it.
