Flight of the Curlew

By TerryMcK
A Curlew in full flight over the beach behind RSPB Titchwell, Norfolk. I love to see these wonderful waders whether they probing for food on the beach or in flight after being disturbed by other large birds, or over-enthusiastic wildlife photographers.
Details as EXIF

EDIT: Derrr... I knew this was a Curlew but originally entitled it as a "... Bittern." Thanks to those members quick to point out my unforgivable error!

Thank you for your words & votes on my previous feature, "Norfolk Turnstone."

My thanks to the above members mshulver1 & callumcorrie for stating that the bird is a "Curlew" and not a Bittern as I originally called it! I knew it was, of course, but that's what happens when you try to upload at the same time you've been called for dinner. Wink
