Both good but the b&w is more effective, I think. A timeless pastoral scene.

Both great, but I prefer V2, the colours & light emit the story of silence & tranquility well!

V1, do prefer the mono. And the pano/crop works for me better.

Rare for me, but , this time I find the black and white exquisite-- a classic image------Good choices made all around, especially toning, framing and placement on the page-- a sure winner!

I like the shot in V1 but prefer the colour in V2. Two lovely shots.

Superb light. I really find it almost impossible to decide which I prefer. The `moods`of the pictures are quite different, I feel. The B&w, with its greater sense of space and exposure, really does appeal to me-- reminds me of the final verse of Auden's "Fall of Rome" with the sense of a cold, indifferent landscape. But both pictures are superb.
Wonderful capture; beautiful light and B/W shades.
