Flower Baskets

By scotjames
Taken in the historic Fife village of Culross. I like the way your eyes are drawn up the stairs and through to the small window at the back of this 16th century building.

Works very well, makes the viewer want to climb those stairs and into the doorway. Lovely work

I love the odd angles of the baskets. The angle of the steps is a bit odd too.

A nice shot of this delightfully quirky building.
Built before the invention of spirit levels. Much easier on the eye. Great shot Ross and well spotted. Clive

Lovely - real flower baskets! in the main meaning of the word. Like the worn out steps, too. Given to the colour of the building, I suppose this is an annex to the old Castle?!
