Fly (Dung Fly??)

By maggiem
I'm obviously in 'bug' mode at the moment. I'm not sure what this little fella is, but as I was in my friends horse field doing some 'tidying-up' (you horsey people will know what I mean..Wink), I am assuming this was some sort of 'dung fly'. Perhaps someone can ID it for me?

Anyway, when I got a closer look at this little bug, I loved the way the sunshine gave his eyes a little colour.

As always, any comments or crits welcome.

Looks like one or a robber fly, pretty good shot and like the eye colour, you can most likely track him online at this link, all in sections and photo, regards Leon.Grin http://www.gardensafari.net/english/remaining_flies.htm
