Trwyn Du Lighthouse is a lighthouse between Dinmor Point near Penmon and Ynys Seriol, or Puffin Island, south east Anglesey, at the north entrance to the Menai Strait (grid reference: SH 6 44815) and marking the passage between the two islands.
In the distance Llandudno can be seen too.

A long shutter speed was used with the Lee 10 stopper filter to achieve this image.

It would have been my user award if there was not the long time exposure and the distortion. otherwise perfect, but the sea and sky are just unreal.

Great strong colours from your long exposure/Lee10 big stopper filter
The blurred cloud movement over 62sec exposure has given a surreal feel to this seascape
Prefer the colour images

Super colours but think I would have preferred it sharp too.

Thx for comments.

The idea behind the image was for the long exposure to add something a little different to an otherwise ordinary image.
I can't do ordinary Sad.

Love the colour versions particularly Ian. The long exposure and its effect on the elements is what makes the image for me. All a matter of taste I suppose.
