Font in Mono ...

By sut68
Another from the highly photogenic Lichfield Cathedral ... hope you're not getting too bored of them Wink. 5 shots [-4,-2, 0 +2 +4 EV] HDR combined and Tone mapped in Photomatix, converted and finished in Photoshop.

Hope your weekend is going to plan, if not better ... enjoy what's left of it.

Paul

Yesterday made me appreciate that these shots are not easy to get at all. This is another excellent shot in this series, so much detail and the mono works very well. Deserves to do well.

Well a mono had to come soon and you haven't disappointed, like Martin W says needs to be seen large.

The lack of colour really draws you to the shapes and forms in this. Really well worked shot.

Another cracker, but I would have liked to see the colour version. Seems a shame to waste all those lovely soft tones.
Does that font move? Sure it wasn't there when I was there!

I think the colour version for me Paul, there is less burnt out highlights from the window and the colour is so beautifully subtle.
