Fort Perch

By Anthony
Shot in the company of Stuwhitt.

Shot RAW, 42mm focal length on my 18 - 55 USM (Kit Lens) 100 ASA, 1 sec at f8, tripod mounted, 0.4 underexposed.

Cropped, removed some debris, used the Shadow/Highlight filter to balance the light and dark areas, some dodging and burning,a little sharpening, and a border.

What do you think?

The light was poor, the clouds were brilliant, and the wind was almost blowing me off my feet.

Lovely and moody -- like the sandcastles in the foreground, too (if that's indeed what they are) Smile

What is it about this place - is it always blowing a gale and freezing cold?
Another lovely shot Anthony.
Now I've got a tripod that won't blow away in the breeze .. I'm thinking about another visit to your lighthouse.
