I have no real idea... But it doesn't look like it should be allowed.

Really good timing - there's a comedy to the poses that's wonderful.

There's no substantive critique to give on this, and I'd suggest that if you recognise the virtues it has, you should post straight into the main galleries on Silly Sunday when you have a shot like it, and only post for critique where you have some dissatisfaction or uncertainty about an image.

Looks pretty foul to me. Don.. But a well-captured action shot with humour thrown in.

I'm with John.
However, I offer a simple modification, which suggests a crop from the left and top, leaving less space behind your two players, and more in front. I like the way the ball hangs in mid-air in front of the pair.
I have also straightened the image following the line of daisies on the ground, which helps prevent the player at the rear from looking as if he's toppling over backwards.

I then brightened the image a little, adjusted blacks and whites, and sharpened.

Shoot those at a wider aperture. Could do with slightly faster shutter and shallower dof. I've uploaded a slight mod.
