Found Ya!!

By Relic01
This was taken while out in the woods with my dog Knight. I decided to play hide and seek and was facing the other way when I heard something behind me, turned and snapped this. Glad it was on auto this time, lol. I have uploaded the original as mod 1. If anyone can sharpen it, please do. My software cannot (might be me that can't yet). CC always welcome though this was a literal turn and shoot moment.

Its a decent shot, and its as good as it gets. The dog was moving, so you will have that blur which cant be sharpened. Its fine as it is I think. You would have needed a shutter speed way faster for Knight.

Thanks Willie, like I said it was literally a turn and shoot moment, lol. I do like the motion in some ways, it captures his spirit/personality well.

Dogs move fast! This was taken close up. If you have a look at this recent CG upload it was taken at 1/640 second and there is still slight movement blur. Auto isn't the answer, you need to be sure of a very fast shutter speed to do this.

You have a willing model - I would suggest that this is your project for the autumn. Have some fun with Knight and see what you can get!

Sadly, there's a saying in life ... you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear ... Grin

Not that your image is a pig's ear - far from it. It's just that it is what it is - a dog, having great fun, moving at a rate faster than either you or your camera could cope with at that particular moment in time! Software is good, but it's not that good!!

Still, as images go I love it - movement and all. So my mod exploits Knight's enthusiastic, boundless energy ... Wink

I really like the zap-zap-zap-zap lines of the receding path and undergrowth.

Otherwise, it is what it is, and there's nothing at all to add to Tanya's mod...
