Four Abreast

Pulling the plough, working Clydesdale spend long hours in the field for little pay. I altered the original colour raw photo to B&W and put the result on canvas, the finished art form I really like, but then it was produced for me. Enjoy also.

Four-in-hand pulling ... looks like a spring harrow. The teamster has to know his stuff to handle these guys. The second horse in is showing his 'feathers' - definitely a Clydes. Wow. Thank you for posting this.

Thanks for the comment, yes you know your farming very well, all that you have said here is correct, I miss the Clyde and Shires you only see them now in country shows, it is a shame.
