Very well spotted and captured. You are right not something you see every day or probably again.
Well capture, deserves a lot more attention.

thank you all for your comments. i didnt think it would get many votes but put it on anyway although its not a great picture i was amazed to see four kestrels. i watched them for about an hour. if fact the longest ive sat down and been quite for.

Amazing shot,what are the chances.....could I ask you Shell if they were there for an hour surely you had the opportunity to get some better shots...light etc.....not being cheeky ,just wondered...

hello gerry,
im not one to blame the equipment i use but my old lens was not very good, quite a distance away, hand held and i was in a bird hide i got one good shot of one as it came closer.
lack of experience though i should have got a better picture.
i did go back but did not see them again

well spotted, what t a loveley sight, not the greatest photo-but nice to share it wih us - something I would love to see, I enjoy the bird life here around my home, we have a huge buzzard comunity, but have never seen this before, well done.
