Foxton Locks II

A set of images all taken at Foxton Locks in Leicestershire on my canalboat holiday in early March.
V1 - The "Wicked William" going through the top lock at Foxton Locks on its way back to Union Wharf at Market Harborough
V2 - A view up the 1st flight of locks on the outward journey on the Friday when it was very foggy and visibility was extremely poor
V3 - The Arm of the Union entering the last lock of the 1st flight on its journey back to Market Harborough
V4 - A view of Foxton Top Lock looking North towards Market Harborough on the return journey
V5 - The "Wicked William" heading through the 1st lock on the 2nd flight on its way back to Union Wharf
V6 - The Arm of the Union in the last lock of the 1st flight on its return journey to Union Wharf
V7 - The Arm of the Union and the Wicked William going through the swing bridge on the approach to Foxton Locks from Market Harborough at the start of the week
V8 - The swing bridge just before Foxton Locks at Foxton taken on the Friday when it was foggy

Another fine set from your canal holiday, Ed: once again these images show what a neat fit there as when negotiating the locks. And I too am rather partial to the misty shots.

A superb set of documentary images Ed, each one with a story or tale to tell. My particular favourite being images number 2 and 6.

Nice to have the clear blue and sunny sky but the atmosphere in the foggy V7 & V8 really impress.

A great set telling a story. I'm going for two extremes - V4 with the bright and sunny feel
and V8 with the mist.

A really good set of images, Ed!
A good mix of sun and mist - V3 and the flight of locks is my favourite today but, I do like V7 and V8 as well!
V3 reminds me of the Nine Locks at Brierley Hill in the West Mids, not far from where I live.
