It was grey and miserable last weekend, so I decided to tidy up the garage and I came across these three headless screws...

Outcast from the rest of the screws for not having any slots in them for a screwdriver to fit in to, they lived their solitary lives rattling around in an old tin waiting to be discovered again.

Can't see as I'll ever have a use for them...

...apart from being a subject to test my new Tamron 90mm macro lens! Wow, that lens is sharp. And stopping down to very small apertures has revealed some dust on my sensor... Hmm...

Wow, i nearly shed a tear when i read the they lead solitary lonely lives but they have been immortalised.. good capture..
