Free as the Wind

In flight shot captured last April while out birding at our local nature reserve.

This Mallard drake offered a challenging shot as it flew in swiftly over the creek ..... framing, tracking, panning and shooting all in a jiffy. In such situations its always better to have your camera settings set in advance to focus on the capture itself ..... and it paid off here. Pretty decent in flight shot overall.

Viewing large looks better.
