Freezing to Death

By spaceman
Taken in February on the only day of snow we had down here. What appeals to me about it is the half-seen nature of the lettering - you might get a better idea of this from the large version.
I know it isn't perfectly centred but cropping the left would have removed more of the snow than I'd have liked.

Doesn't want to be centred - it's more dynamic just as is. Really needs to be viewed large for full appreciation - then the whole thing really 'comes to life' (odd choice of phrase for a gravestone I guess !). Nice work Michael - nice work indeed. Bruce

Watcha Michael,
excellent texture exercise, dead on with the crop, to have taken more would have upset the balance of dark and light.
best

Watcha Michael,
now that's odd, I'd paid your pf a visit earlier to see if anything new up, but no, then you've come to my place, thanks for the comments, when are we going to see some new stuff from you, withdrawal symptoms are setting in.

Glad you noticed the 'dead on' bit Smile
best
Mick
