Friday Fun

By digital_boi
Happy Friday all the day that leads to the weekend hurrah!! was up a tad early this morning so was playing again as you can see above. The copywrite was me just playing with watermarks for fun so i added it to this.

V2 is a tone mapped image that i nicked from the ''dark side'' of Glasgow. (RonnieAG territories) for a change the darkside was bathed in warm sunlight this shot is of the River White Cart as it flows through Pollok Country Park not sure about tonemapping on this type of shot but i thought it was quite pleasing to my blood shot eye this morning.

Thanks all for taking time to make comments on the last efforts it is always appreciated

Hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy the sun if it lasts not bad on the west side of Glasgow this morning but to be rain later Temp at the moment is 18C

V2 is absolutely beautiful.
You did a great job on v1 and the watermark, although large is actually very unobtrusive. Nice work.

Lot of work involved in creating V 1, a mixture of shots from both the light and the dark side, and very nicely done it is too: The watermark is barely noticeable, Graham.
And V 2 is a very good capture of the weir by the car park in the Park.......I have taken numerous shots there but never kept one......perhaps I'll get it right one day.

Two completely different but beautiful captures. We're having a heatwave in the Midlands. I got a bit of sunburn while I was sat with my grand daughters in the paddling pool. Then not me you'll be glad to know. You'd never believe it October in just half an hour!

Both are well done Tone mapping in v2 is not overdone and can be reduced or increased as suits, the weather in this country is such that if we dont use some kind of tonal /light enhancement we wont have many bright pictures .I like em.

A great variety of shots in V1 Graham and well done for your patience in creating it. Good use of shutter speed in V2 which works really well.

Glad to give your 30th vote - Well done.

labour of love in V1, very interesting montage all well taken & presented, V2 benefits from the tonemapping, well controlled-very easy to get carried away with method of p/p.
