Friday Fun in Peru

By TheURL
We tried the Guinea Pig, which was fine but in my view nothing to write home about. A lot of effort for a small reward as with all small animals. But it attracted a lot of interest from fellow diners who also took photos - any more and it would have gone cold before we had a chance to eat it! Credit where its due, it was beautifully presented, and the evening view over the main square in Cusco was delightful.

I just Googled that and its by no means clear whether that happens or not. Or if it happened in the past but does not happen now. But I'm not denying that vegetarianism/veganism and animal husbandry is a big subject. It just gets very difficult when deciding how to react to what we see in other cultures.
