Vlychada Beach, Santorini, Cyclades, Aegean Island, Greece.

The beaches of Santorini were forged by the fierce power of lava and the massive volcanic eruption of 1600 BC; they are rough and rugged, but they display a multitude of colour and shapes that make them truly unique. The beach of Vlychada is among those beaches, and for many it is the most amazing beach in Santorini.

Vlychada takes your breath away. A thin stretch of black and grey pebbles lies under the shadow of a steep rock, carved by the artistic power of the sea, the sand and the wind resulting in an almost lunar scenery. This beach represents the true character of Santoriniís coast; rocky, rough and simply one-of-a-kind.
