Some chalk down land just freshly mown revelling the chalk literally at surface level
V1 shows the area I was photographing at the time; Cranborne Chase. I was out with Charlie Waite, a friend and superb landscape photographer. I have known him literally wait for 4 days at a particular spot to get the light he wanted. That's proper photography.
Superb photo, Tony. Well worth digging out of your archive. Great contrast ot tones, straight and curved lines, and framed nicely by the hillside and the cloud shadow .

That's one fine composition, Tony. I'm pleased I read your intro. as at first I was wondering how those fine striations appeared on the surface of the sea :$;)
