Excellent group of images here Mike, and I never recall visiting Hastings whilst visiting rellies in Pevensey bay, I suspect we did.
I didn't realise there where so many places along the coast here that the fishing vessels are drawn onto the shingle, not like Eastbourne

And Colin, that thing, is a beacon, there are a series of them along the south coast, for signalling, what? There is one near Bridport which I have walked to many times, something historical, lost in time.
