a cracking shot but i feel it could do with a bit extra contrast the tree,s and the canal boat should be in shadow so a little darker for a more natural look ,well done for getting up early in the cold
There's a lot to like here Damien. Beautiful atmosphere, lovely sky and reflections. The ony thing I would quibble about is the crop. I would have been inclined to go less wide to cut out some of the bank on the left and focus more on the boat. The bank on the left is OK but it takes up quite a lot of the picture space. See mod which cuts some of it out.

A lovely scene. Its nicely exposed to avoid burning out the Sun. Its a little lacking in contrast, - simply due to the weather conditions, and can look better with some more.
I would suggest a different crop though, removing space from the right, and placing the boat on the third, and leaving the space on the left.
In the mod Ive done this, and in addition to contrast and crop, Ive applied sharpening, and lifted saturation and applied a warming filter.

It's a lovely picture, but I think you can get more impact by cropping the left a lot. In my mod I located the setting sun/barge around one third of the way down and one third of the way in. This got rid of that big area of churned of snow on the right, also.
At first sight a beauty. Then I wonder if the boat should be so central and it is very soft. Could be the compression, but I suspect the very long exposure. Assume you must have used a tripod, but don't think f26 was necessary with a 10/20 lens. Total depth of field from about f11.
