Fulking Escarpment

By JJGEE
Another from my walk last week-end on the South Downs at The Devil's Dyke.

I think next time I will walk down there and see what the view is like looking back up.

Allowing, of course, a couple of hours to walk back ! !

It looks quite steep so I will have to stop a few times for a rest Sad

If you go to Fulking, try to go when there is a cricket match on. The ground is in the village and just has to be the most scenic ground in the country with the downs as a backdrop. I think that I have a pic in my portfolio a way back if you are interested in seeing the view. Sorry I should have checked before I started this! The club is very affluent as you will see from the clubhouse which is more than just the usual shack. Definitely worth going down there but the road is very narrow and twisty in places. Nice picture by the way

Thanks David, not been to the cricket ground but you can see it, as you probably know, from The Devil's Dyke ( by the pub ! )

In fact, I have a couple of shots looking down on a match in progress.
