Dark and grungeful, Janet, I hope the garage door got painted 🙂 No rats (or bats) in this, but feels like it should have one or two. Looks like a old Camp Coffee bottle, do you remember them. I can just from early 50s. Thanks for sharing this with us 👌

I'm far too young to remember them....I wish.
Lets put it this way, Im so not getting the top off the bottle to sniff it, came from my Dads workshop, could be absolutely anything !!
My uncle was just the same, in his workshop he’d soak the labels off the Camp bottles, and use for all sorts of things from Linseed oil to turpentine or methylated spirits. As kids we were warned not to touch 😄
Lovely capture, well used objects. That's a good idea putting a label on the tin to say what was painted.
