Full Moon

By DerekL
Thankyou for your votes and comments on my previous upload, as always much appreciated.
Here is a shot just taken of the moon, which really large and bright in the sky tonight.
Not the best time to take the moon, as it doesn't show up the craters well.
However, thought I would share this with you.

Excellent Derek,
I am off to take photo's by moon light tomorrow night with some friends from the camera club, never done anything like that so will be interesting to see what I come up with, don't think I will be able to shoot the moon though...only have 280mm max to play with. Hoping to talk Geoff into coming with but he doesn't seem keen.

Must remember to look tonight, if it still there.

The closest it has been to Earth, in something like 15 years+, I believe..
