'Alien' describes it nicely. Great moody lighting. Iceland is so photogenic. Great image.

Its swings and roundabouts John, V1 shows more colour in the b/g part of the image but V2 shows more detail in the foreground ?crater but I am going to say V1 having toggled back and forth a few times

I prefer V1 but I can see how people would prefer V2

number one for me, I like the tones and there seems to be more detail in the shades!

I like about number 2 that it looks more poisonous, makes it easier to imagine the smell. But then what do I know about judges, I have never tried what you do so if I pick no 1 it's just my taste.
