The point of view makes it appear to be a colossal work from sometime in the future...

Dear Moira, Oliver and Malc, thank you for your comments.

Moira, you deserved your own User Award, as it was thanks to your comment that I recropped the image. This version is certainly more dare do, adventurous and dynamic compared to Yesterday's.
Malc, a lot of steel goes into these attractions, it helped that the attraction in the back just happened to swing its seats right in the square of the first one. It makes for a complexer image with hopefully much to see.

Liked yesterday's and today's images Robert.

To me, two separate compositions with different identities. Today's clarifies the structure but I don't get the same sense of fun and fear from the dangling legs as I did from the whole picture.

Different to yesterday's version, the ride in the background is more dominant, but it lacks the movement and fun aspect of the first version. I like both, yesterday's is my preference by a whisker.

interesting comments on this version.
I can only describe this crop as daring, with only the dangling feet indicating fun as there is no 'whole' person in view.
Wheras yesterday's shows you that people are having fun by actually showing people in the image, smiling etc. as such the intent of the image is almost presented to you on a silver plate...
Both have merit.

Bill thank you for your User Award. most appreciated.

Hi Viola and Leo, thank you for your commentscand User Awards.
I too think today's version works better.
Interesting how a small adjustment can lead to a more interesting image.

I hadn't got around to looking at yesterday's when I saw this version because of the site going down yesterday. So, when I first saw this, I thought it might be a view through a glass floor, the lady's legs being somebody walking on the glass. Now that I've seen yesterday's, my interpretation is shattered, but that doesn't detract from the fact that this is a mind-bending image. I like the serendipitous ride coming into view and the motion blur that gives a clue about what's happening as well as your title). It's the mystery the abstract nature of the image that appeals to me, and so I chose this one to give a GEA to.
