Fun Guys

Had a trip out yesterday to check the local woods for 'shrooms. Not many just now, probably a bit early tbh, just a few to be seen but I had a nice couple of hours walking in the woods Smile

Gone a bit arty farty today with this little gathering and a guest appearance from the photo-bombing fly !
I just wanted to do something different with an ordinary image of Fungi.
So here it is in all it's arty glory.

Taken in daylight, down and dirty, on the woodland floor...at least it was dryish Wink
Raw file sorted in Lightroom, arty effect done in Topaz Studio 2 with a couple of different layers. Finished in Photoshop.
The bokeh is real, just painted.
This is the kind of painting I would do with lots of time and patience.

A beautiful result. Not many fungi in the north of Scotland - too dry. I have been photographing every one I find if it is accessible.
